Route4 Solutions are pleased to announce that we have been approved as a training centre to deliver Driver CPC training. This completes the portfolio of logistic services that Route4 Solutions can now offer, recruitment, courier services and now training.
Mike Harris, the Managing Director recently successfully completed his “train the trainer “ course, run by Pride training.
Kevin King, has also joined the training team after successfully completing the assessment with Pride Training, who run a large consortium of trainers approved by JAUPT. Kevin brings a wealth of driver training, driver assessing and CPC training experience with him.
On the training material that we will he be delivering for Route4 Solutions, Kevin said “ this is the best Training material I have seen in my 7 years of delivering CPC Training and I’m looking forward to delivering it and making sure the drivers get the best out of it.“
The training will be open to all drivers and companies, regardless of whether they are existing drivers or customers.

The above courses will be held at PROLOG Phase 8, Lake View Drive, Sherwood Park, Nottinghamshire NG15 0ED.
Courses will cost £60 including upload fee and refreshments. We will be offering modules that include Driver’s Hours, Working Time Directive, working with others and customer service. The plan is to add more modules over the coming months.
Every driver must complete 35 hours of periodic training every 5 years to keep your Driver Certificate of Professional Competence. The first 5 year’s of training had to be completed by September 2014 and the second 5 year period ends 19/9/19.
For new professional drivers, their 5 year period starts from when they complete Module’s 2 and 4 when they first pass there category C test
Mike said “This was always part of the plan for Route4 Solutions to offer driver training and I’m so pleased to have passed the Train a trainer course, which was an intensive week with Pride Training. It now allows us to ensure all our drivers all fully trained and offers us the opportunity of providing the training for other companies and individuals. With Kevin joining the ranks, he brings years of experience, which I’m positive the drivers and myself will benefit from.”
