Route4 Solutions has enjoyed a year of significant growth and moved to new offices in the Nottingham Sustainability and Enterprise Centre.
Co-directors Mike and Carol Harris founded Route4 Solution is 2014 and we have just celebrated our three-year ambition of reaching £1m turnover.
In supplying drivers to some the UK’s largest logistics hubs, Route4Solutions assists transport and operations managers to run efficient and cost effective logistics operations. We work with logistics companies that are committed to working towards a greener future, which includes using ultra-low carbon emission vehicles and drivers who are educated to deliver maximum fuel efficiencies.
Commenting, Managing Director Mike Harris has over 20 years of experience of working in the logistics industry and providing temporary drivers. Commenting he said, “We set up Route4Solutions to offer a refreshingly new approach to driver recruitment and it’s proved to be an instant hit with Transport Managers and drivers alike. We are delighted with how quickly we have grown and really pleased with our new offices.”
He added, “We have to be available to contact 24 hours a day 365 days a year to help our customers provide a reliable service to their end user. Our growth meant we needed to professionalise further and The NSEC offices have given us a really flexible solution in a modern and easily accessible location.”
Further growth will come from a new courier service which was launched in February 2017 to offer same day delivery for small parcels and packages, as well as a removals services for small houses and flats, such as delivering student belongings to their University accommodation. The company is also planning to offer driver and compliance training solutions. The overall objective within the next three years will be to buy bespoke offices to accommodate all areas of the business.
Route4Solutions now employs 5 full time staff who liaise with customers to place drivers that are trained to meet the standards required by Route4Solutions.
Opened in April 2016, The NSEC is a newly built £2.3m centre designed to accommodate new businesses who need flexible workspace in which to expand and grow.
